In 2003, Mr. Jagdish Prasad Jaiswal (JP Jaiswal) worked alongside three artisans on a single loom to establish J.P. Exports. He founded his company on the values of respect and decency. His journey began in 1995, and in 2003, he registered his firm name. He is currently the business owner of one of the biggest producers of hand-knotted carpets.

The original rugs were made and sold under the Saroukh brand.
